This is ignorant. Parts of brooklyn? Yes. There are 2.5 million people in Brooklyn. It is an extremely large and diverse place.

i think we're talking about the parts of brooklyn aimed at young people.

of course brooklyn is huge and diverse. maybe i should amend to williamsburg.

Well according to you, LA provides Houston and the rest of the civilized world with their culture, so you're good there.

I almost forgot to mention Austin,TX for people around my age.

I have a few friends who currently live there and they love it.

I'd go Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison. I'm actually a fan of Grand Rapids but don't want the secret to get out too much. I'd also throw in areas just outside of Detroit, which I know is shocking to some.

re: Good city for young adults

well, i'm long past the young adult stage...

but even now, i think if i were offered something at fort hamilton (brooklyn), with a promotion, i'd take it as long as i could live in contract housing on post....

if i made about 5x the money i'm making now, would look at san francisco....

would not go near LA for anything....detest the place

texas...well, it's full of texans...

So did you spend 365 consecutive or cumulative days in Houston? Are you sure you know what it means?

sure. but it's pretty obvious given most studies that arts, music, etc, add to the quality of the nightlife/culture.

that's a pretty accepted part of what makes a city great.
