A bad day fishing/hunting is always better than a good day at work

Does this always hold true?

Unless you fall out of your stand and create a whales vagina slash on your leg

Not always. Most of the time though.
I would rather get a raise at work and make my company some money over getting lost in the woods for 6 hours and getting poison ivy over 2/3 of my body..

Most specially when you have them " figured out" and you convince your buddy to take a day of vacation to come tear some arse up with you...
My buddy still gives me hell over that shite.

Not if you burn up a boat motor or sink a boat or do something that otherwise costs you grands
But those trips make for good stories so I dunno

Yeah I've lost a few grand in guns from a boat sinking. Not fun.

On days like today, absolutely! Going yak fishing in cocodrie tomorrow morning.

Yes because if the fishing/hunting goes bad I can commence to day drink.

I work out of my house so I would rather be at home then out on the lake and not catching anything.

I do like that way of thinking though

There are several instances where I wished I was at work instead of paddling back to the launch in the freezing rain, or half naked in the woods pouring the water out of my hip boots in freezing temps.

Not when you've shat your pants trying to get three layers of clothes off in time.

Would have to be catastrophic failure for this not to be true.
I've lost shite, broke shite, broke the bracket the TM sat in, had to do a full carb clean on the water with nothing but a Gerber. GPS quit responding in one hellatious all day fog on Toledo, we had just ran from LA side to south TX, quit right after I stopped the boat, so I knew where I was "sort of." Fished the bank and started going left, out of the creek I was in, and just kept going. Found the damn right at dark, idle speed all the way back to South Toledo St. Park, made it back around 10. Still had a limit of fish, first time I really thought I was going to have to spend the night on my boat.
