Even if Dennis Quaid's accent was inauthentic, the soundtrack was awesome.

My personal favorite. I was in about 10th grade and that was the first time I had heard the Smashing Pumpkins (I somehow missed Gish, Siamese Dream had not come out yet). Not to mention Pearl Jam, AIC, Soundgarden, etc.....

This is a perfect album to give some 15 year old kid so they can learn about the great music from that era. (The same can be said for Dazed and confused, great music, different era).
