So NC's don't count? Mmmmkay.
I didn't say they don't count but Bama's NC wasn't as historical as their first or something along those lines. There is a NC game every year and there wasn't anything super historical about that game other than maybe it was 2 SEC teams.

The cellphone game was pretty cool. I actually was watching them warm up and I saw Joe Horn messing with the bottom of the goalpost padding before the game. I pointed it out to my dad. Then he did that when he scored, and people still remember it

- the Saints first playoff win in 2000.
- the reopening of the Superdome against Atl in 2006.
- every Sugar Bowl I've attended has been an upset. Went to the Florida-Notre Dame 1992 Sugar Bowl. I went to the Alabama-Utah Sugar Bowl a few years ago also. Okay, so the Sugar Bowl games weren't so historic.
But the Marshall-East Carolina game in 2001 was. The GMAC Bowl always delivered

1st Saints home playoff game, 1st win, Saints Falcons "Dome re-opening", NFC championship game, Super Bowl XLIV
Game 4 of the 2001 World Series (the "Mr. November" game.)
LSU beating #1 UF in 97 and all MNC championship games in '03' 07 '12. Is the Monday night game after Katrina historic?
Pats winning 1st SB against Rams

Game 3 of 2011 World Series with Pujols hitting three home runs in the game. Something I'll never forget despite the blowout.

2011 National Championship AU-Oregon is the only one I can come up with
^Weak.
I went to first ever BCS NC, Tennessee vs FSU Fiesta Bowl in 1999.
2001 World Series, Game 7 ... Curt Schilling, Roger Clemens, Randy Johnson, and Mariano Rivera pitching in one game was pretty frickin awesome.
2003 Fiesta NC overtime thriller between tOSU/Miami.
2007 Boise/Oklahoma Fiesta.

I'm sure this has already been said, but the Saints Monday Night game against the Falcons in 2006 to reopen the Superdome. It is a memory I will keep with me for the rest of my life.
