I'm surprised people actually like Geno. He's a hell of a player. He always shows up, but I mean guys like Tebow, RGIII, Cam, and Ingram in recent years have always been someone people like. They were either funny or one of the greatest human beings on the planet (Tebow). Geno is just another guy off the field. On the field he's the best. If the Heisman was given out right now he's got it, but he's so meh off of the field.

You really don't know anything about Geno if you think that about him? shite Eddie George was loving the guy after the interview they had shown during halftime of the Texas game. What's the reasoning for the dislike?

I have no issues with the 'eers, had a blast last year in Morgantown, even though their students make the LSU ones look classy beyond belief. That said, the D is gonna going to let them down this season, I would say K State will get the win but they won't, this is a prime game for OU, they will win this one.

There's a thread on this topic on the 24/7 Texas site. UT puts their visiting recruits and their families in the sections right behind the visiting bench. Person that started the thread claims he was sitting in said section with his two sons (UT recruits). He eventually posted:
"Funny you should mention if I was close....I have two sons that sit right there in the recruit section.. HS JR 6'3 340 OL and a HS Frosh 6' 235 DL /MLB. My boy wanted to bust him in the mouth with an M n M. Yes that close. Row 1 50yd line...and Mama was right there too! Also, he did taunt Geno too. It comes with the stage...they called him "Ceasar" off of the planet of the Apes. Stop giving him a pass..."
On Planet of the Apes "Caesar" is a slave chimp. Sssooooo the UT recruits were calling our African-American QB a slave chimp.
I am actually in the "don't respond to hecklers" camp, but if what this fricktard posted is true.....yeah, frick UT

Basically what I'm getting from that post is that it was ok for the recruits and fans to heckle him and his teammates but not ok for them to respond back. This is not some thug POS move. It is trash talking in a major sport and I'm positive everybody who has played a sport has done it.

I remember at a Texas-Arkansas game.. 2002, when the fans/recruits were heckling the arky DB Carroll. I was sitting close by.
"Carroll is a girl's name!" etc. etc.
In both cases Geno and "Carroll" got the last laugh. Maybe that section should keep their traps shut!!
