Who knows the name of that bayou?

It goes all the way from Krotz Springs down to south of Henderson...

and there's a lake down there called Catahoula Lake? Who knew there were TWO? I guess the one in Cenla is Lake Catahoula.

That bayou is normally called Bayou Paranee (sp?) and runs all the way into Lake Dautrieve and Fausse Point. Fishing in the late summer and fall can be very good once the water clears a little bit. In the spring it usually is too muddy to fish.There are a bunch of rice fields to the north of Henderson that drain into it keeping the water muddy. I have caught some pretty good stringers in the past there.
