You ever deal with someone whos hopped up on drugs. Ive seen guys take multiple rounds to the chest and keep right on charging.

USA's campus cops aren't usually quick to fire shots so I'm sure he felt it was his best option in the spur of the moment. No one can really say until they're faced with a situation like this. It's a terrible deal though because I've heard from people that knew the kid that he was well respected and a good person. Hate to see South get national attention for events like this also. Prayers for the student and officers family.

You are assuming that when he realized he was in danger he was merely a step back to safety. I'm not sure how you know this. Like I said, if circumstances allow.
