Atlanta/STL winner will beat the Nats.

Giants/Reds is a tough arse matchup to predict.

I'll go with:

St. Louis over Atlanta

St. Louis over Washington
San Francisco over Cincinnati

San Francisco over St. Louis

Lots of intangibles favor SF.

First two games in SF.
Latos not pitching until Game 3 (Arroyo pitching in game 2).
If they use Bailey, he will have to pitch at home in game 4 even though hes SOOOO much better on the road.

Not a fan of how Dusty set up the rotation. Even if he only uses 3 starters for the whole series, Cueto and ARROYO would get the ball twice instead of Cueto and Latos. Latos owns the Giants.

So it's:

Cueto vs Cain
Arroyo vs Bumgarner
Lincecum vs Latos
Zito vs Bailey
Cain vs Cueto

Right?

Dusty hasnt confirmed that Bailey will even pitch in the series. He said it will depend on how things go in the first three games.

Ah. Last I saw it looked like Wainright was getting the start.

ETA: Cardinals will be fine unless the Braves somehow picked up Bud Norris in the last day. That guy is a Cardinals buzzsaw.

Or, you know, the best starter in the majors since the All Star break.

Homer Bailey should open up the series, dude is money on the road. Then again his weekness is giving up bombs at GABP and well the giants hit like 12 year old girls.
