yea, no he wasn't. He was hurt almost the entire year and was a situational player. Jenkins and Harper were the starters at safety.
He was hurt before the season started. He caused 0 turnovers in 2010, his highest tackles in a game equaled 4 (averaged 2 a game), and had one pass defended for the year.
I would love to know what games he "was the defense" for

I would 110 percent take the 09 defense. Statistics don't mean a damn thing. Getting all those turnovers did.

I'm talkin about the year before. Sharper was a huge part in them winning the Super Bowl. After that he was pretty much washed up. If they could have had him for at least 3 more seasons playin at a high level, it would have been nice.

And 2010 defense was not as good as the year before. That is BS!
