Kind of, but then I remember WVU defense will have me stressing that entire game.

W. Michigan -16.5 (Fading U-Mass this week)
Purdue ML
Purdue +3
LSU -2.5

Are people really not liking Northwestern +3 @ Penn State?

I fricking LOVE that game bro.

And keep an eye out on the UNC/Va Tech game ... For some reason that game is still creeping up. If anything I figured it would swing in Va Tech's favor. I know Va Tech has burned a lot of us in here, but if it gets to 6.5, buy the hook and hammer the hokies. My Heels have only beaten ECU, Idaho, and Elon this year. I'm not understanding the love for them at the moment.

The "tech's" have burned me this year. I'm hesitant to take Va tech or Ga tech anymore.

Will still take a look at it, but doubt I play it.

Gonna lay some $$$ on Northwestern

ETA: Took NW +3 @ Penn State & NW ML

I'm not betting against them unless the line gets to a TD or better ...

And what's with the fading UMASS still? Hasn't that lost like 3 weeks in a row now?

I will betting on UNC in all likelihood, I admitingly don't know much about the Heels but my numbers like them and the public will get burned again on Va Tech, IMO.

Depends on which Renner shows up. If he doesn't make dumb arse mistakes they should be okay.

I haven't been fading them all year. This is the first time I've bet against them (or on a game they've been in ).

I believe tots said he went 2-0 fading them at first. So if they lost the last 3, they are 2-3.

W. michigan at home should cover against them. It's an extremely small play for me either way.

I'm not sure about this game. PSU looked awful at the beginning of the year, but they were 3 pt underdogs vs Illinois last week and blew them away early. That and I add to it that teams that Northwestern has blown away are pretty bad (BC, Vandy, Syracuse, and Indiana). On the NW side, Illinois looks to be a team that anyone with a little talent in their pinky finger can trounce them.

I think Penn State is very slow on defense and struggles against balanced offenses like they did against Ohio. NW has been on fire offensively lately and the defense has been impressive against every not named Syracuse in the first game of the season. They were up 27-7 on IU midway through the 3rd quarter last week and that game wasn't as close as the score suggests. Beaver Stadium is always difficult to play in but if the public hammers PSU later this week, then I'll definitely jump on NW with Purdue.

Also really interested to see what the rest of tigers system thinks about NW.

Dgtiger, what is your system spitting out about Kentucky and Vandy as dogs?

Because I like both Mizzou and Mississippi State to cover those. Thinking about a tease of State -4 and Mizzou -.5.

Also pretty interested in the above cause I have Mizzou and Miss State in a 5 team teaser already.

I wanted to take UGA against Vandy, and Florida against Kentucky two weeks ago and pussed out. So maybe I'm just trying to make up for that, but Mizzou....at HOME against Vandy. Seems too easy.

Mixed results, which means no play for me.
Northwestern fits the role of a very live dog, 14th out of all 122 teams. But Penn State isn't vulnerable enough of a favorite and the matchup analysis strongly favors Penn State.

Well it has Kentucky (107th) and Vanderbilt (114th) but playing a team the system considers to be a strong favorite against a team that is a weak dog has had very mixed results.
I made the mistake of releasing Stanford as a pick last Thursday because of this exact situation and got burnt. The match up analysis of the game gives both dogs a "punchers" chance.

Because of that game I feel like I held back on a few games I liked last weekend, La Tech and Texas Tech were two I really liked.

For me personally I know what the system was designed for and my goal was to hover around 70% on my released picks so I will be sticking with only what it does best until it has proven success otherwise.

Thanks. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't going against the Spread Doc.

The lines don't seem to be moving so I'm holding off until later.
