I think JJ wants to finish with Martin and Kendall Smith, who will be on campus for the second time this fall on October 8th. I don't know whether the interest with Frazier is mutual at this point. I do know that this class can set us up to win BIG in the near future though. The word is that JJ and staff would be shocked if Martin signed with any other school at this point. The fact that he's been at all the football games so far is definitely encouraging. The 2013 class will be pivotal in potentially setting us up to get Victor and Exum(the GOAT-unbelievable player) in 2014, Ben Simmons, Jeremy Treaudo and Malik Neuman in 2015, and Thon Maker and Khalea Turner in 2016. The future looks bright for sure.

If he comes on an official October 8th then he's a definite take. Quarterman can play 1-3, and Smith is a different type of guard. JJ wants at least two really good ballhandlers on the floor at all times to run his uptempo style. Smith has been on Johnny's radar for a while and is too good to pass on, imo.

so what does our roster look like for this year

I am excited about the athleticism of Deng Deng. What's the scouting report of Odoh? I take it he's a big-time sleeper too?

#1 shot blocker in juco last year I believe. He averaged 4+ per game.

Odoh will be a big time defender and rebounder for us. Not a guy who will probably thrown down double digit points every game, but we won't need that with JJ's offense.

From what I've read about them, Deng and Odoh sound similar in a couple of respects. One, they both have some explosive leaping ability. And of course, length, which will help on defense in the post. Also, they are reportedly very coachable, with a good work ethic. Odoh is no weakling. He pumps iron and can bench over 300 pounds.
Sounds like Deng will give us versatility on the front line, and Odoh will give us rebounding and shotblocking ability. I think they both can run the floor well, which is key in Jones' up-tempo system.

C: JR. (6'9, 262) Johnny O'Bryant III
PF: FR. (6'8, 225) Jordan Mickey
SF: FR. (6'7, 190) Jarrell Martin [just praying for this one]
SG: SO. (6'4, 180) Malik Morgan
PG: JR. (5'11, 182) Anthony Hickey
Bench:
C (6'10) JR. John Odoh
PF (6'8) JR. Deng Deng
PF/SF (6'8) SR. Jalen Courtney
SF (6'6) SR. Shavon Coleman
SF/SG (6'6) SO. Shane Hammink
SG (5'9) SR. Andre Stringer
SG/PG (6'3) SO. Corban Collins
PG (6'6) FR. Tim Quarterman
That would be phenomenal under normal conditions, but under the current conditions it is absolutely unbelievable.
