I'll start

camping outside the assembly center for a tix to lsu basketball game and had a nerf hoop setup.

chris jackson comes over to say hi to everyone and he picks up the nerf ball and swishes it from like 30 feet away.

crowd went nuts and so did CJ.

he signed it, we took it down and never let another person use it.

Jose Vargas was my next door neighbor in 1988/1989 out in GSRI.

I loaned him my pickup (datsun ) so he could move some stuff to a storage facility..dude's knees were touching the windshield.

he was a great guy and he and i would organize baseball games in the field behind our apartments for all the neighborhood kids.

Johnny Robinson LSU DB (long career with Chiefs) was the officiant that married my mom and dad, he visited fairly often when I was a kid. Very nice man, I know he's old but it's all I got.

ETA: Oh yea, dealt blackjack to Brad Cresse when he was at LSU. :weakstorybro:

Pistol Pete lived in Covington when I was at St. Paul's in the late 1980's. He would come to our basketball practices and run drills with us and stay after and play pick-up games. We were seniors in high school playing ball with Pistol Pete in 1986-1987. It all came to a terrible end after his very very premature death. He was in his forties at the time and was still amazing to watch on a basketball court. A great memory from high school.

Sat next to Wade Richey for an accounting class the whole semester. We chatted before class a good bit, nice guy. It wasn't the hardest class in the world, but he was smart. Made A's on every test. I Googled him just now and had forgotten he kicked in the NFL for several years.......

Also had a class with Kevin Faulk....he and his friends just acted like jackasses......

When I was in college, Herman Johnson came to one of my fraternities parties. After it was over there were about 5 of us that all went and post gamed up in my buddies rooms. We hung out and told stories for a while. I was too drunk and being a smart/dumb arse and Herman threatened to throw me off the balcony.

He never did, but I thought it was pretty cool.

I also beat the shite out of T-Bob Herbert in Rock Band Drums. He was talking smack and I shut him up. It was funny cause there were three linemen in my room and they were about to sit on the couch and one guy said he would stand cause most couches can't take 3 linemen at one time.

My girlfriend had a class with Jamarcus Russell and Allley Broussard but not being a sports fan, had no idea who they were at first.

she said JR was a total arse who said he was going to go pro, make millions, and always be in vegas. im serious. he planned his own demise for years.

Alley said he wanted to go pro so he could help his family and get paid to do what he loved. AB was definitely the cooler of the two.

she also said saban would peek his head into the room every once and a while to make sure the players were in class. then all the players in there would talk shite about how much of a dick he was when he left.

Played pool, spades and dominos with Tyrus, big baby and garret temple. Tameka Johnson and a couple of girls on the track team wanted to talk to me.

Not the coolest, but I lived in Broussard Hall for two years.

Kevin Faulk had a giant arse suite on the first floor, Booger used to borrow my friend's shampoo all the time (haha WTF?), Raion Hill would walk the halls naked.

Tons of girls ran through that dorm at all hours of the night.

Stepped on Brian Sparacino in Sports one night when he was literally falling down drunk.

Tailgated with Nicky Savoie at Ole Miss in 2007.

I currently work with Will Arnold.

~ Fall 1977

From l to r: Bobby Moreau, Ace Midnight, Chris Williams (LSU's career interception leader, and the only player from my HS Alma Mater to ever play football, on scholarship, at LSU, though others have walked on)

Charles Alexander was supposed to be there, and would have been in the picture, too, but they couldn't get him to wake up.

Good times....

Mid 80's, one night right after finals outside of Fred's Bar & Grill, for no reason, a drunken Eric Andolsek grabbed me around the neck, lifted me off the ground, and dangled me for a couple of seconds.
