What was Les's motive in bringing in Bolden

He visited before transferring correct? What do you think Les told him? Does he have a chance seeing the field even in years to come with Retting(so) and company coming in? Or do you think he just wanted to be on a championship contending team?

gives us a shot at a dual threat qb. also, scout teams are damn important to the success of a football team.

not only a dual threat qb, but one with actual game experience....

And will it ever be solved.

Maybe Miles was thinking we should take a chance on Bolden since losing Liggins freed up a QB scholarship.

It was a good move, and now that we lost our left tackle, it was genius(Mett could easily be injured)...Also, at the time, Liggins was declared ineligible, and the transfer rules were non-punative. What transpired, and the reason he doesn't stick out much right now, is ole Rivers really started to perform well..But if Mett goes down, and Rivers can't get his passing going..it'll be good to have Bolden..insurance!

We recruited him out of HS. So we knew him and had evaluated him.
Its also been said that Pedo Pa had denied him the ability to transfer once already.
Something tells me he would've been here earlier had Pedo Pa been less of an old-powerhungry-geezerly-type.
