Snyder's a great, great coach but I've always felt that it's far more difficult to have a good program and get it over the hump to win championships than it is to take a bad program and make them decent. I mean Frank Beamer built Virginia Tech program up from nothing. Is he in the running to be the greatest CFB coach of all-time too?

Virginia Tech was 10-1-1 the year before Beamer got there. Kansas State won 9 games in 6 years before Snyder got there.
