SInce CBS announcers suck arse and have no clue what they are talking about

From Pierre TD overturn in first half

quote:

Mike Pereira ?@MikePereira
NO: I didn't think it was but the closeup shot convinved them that ball must have hit the ground. I don't think it was enough to overturn.

From McCLuster play

quote:

Mike Pereira ?@MikePereira
In NO, they ruled it was a catch & the officials ruled him down. They then reversed it to a fumble & gave ball to NO but no advance.

Mike Pereira ?@MikePereira
I'm fine with the ruling. He maintained posession after hitting the ground. I think it is a catch. He let it go after.

From last pylon play

quote:

Mike Pereira ?@MikePereira
Pylon does not make a player out of bounds. It's where his foot comes down after touching the pylon. If ball touches pylon it's dead.

there are actual facts, don't listen to these retard CBS announcers...at least Fox has a professional on call to give clarifications during games to stop all the confusion

ETA: so in his mind, refs got first one wrong (but it is a judgement call) and the last two right

Nobody who played with leather helmets should still be announcing games.

He's a great follow. He was a riot during the Falcons and Broncos game last Monday

Can you explain this for me? What does he mean by dead? Players dive for the pylon and hit it with the ball all the time resulting in a TD

if the ball touches the pylon...the play is dead and its an automatic TD

with the foot apparently it is not dead immediately, it still has to come back down in bounds after touching the pylon (I did not know this until now)

the NFL has strange rules pertaining to the endzone, but at least we have clarification

Nah man, according to the game thread, we're being screwed and the refs just made up giving yourself up today.

Only call I disagree with was the PT rule.

PT call was bad. Not enough to overturn.

exactly, what about that play. Brees landed on top of a defensive player, and his elbow hit down outside the end zone.
