My little girl turns 14yrs old today, would just like to take the time to let all you guys knows how proud her mother and I are of her. Time sure does fly by and I encourage all you guys with little ones to spend as much time as you can with your kids enjoying the outdoors and spending quality time together. She loves the outdoors, enjoys hunting and fishing, a heck of an athlete, a great violinist, and a member of the Junior National Honor Society and just a great all around kid.

Got to share her first out of the park home run

Also got to share in her harvesting her first buck.

Thanks for taking the time to read and hoping all OB'ers get to share in great moments and memories with there little ones.

My 3 year old daughter watches some of my hunting shows with me. I was watching Pigman last night and she said "Where are the big bucks?"

Gotta love those daughters. Mine are now 21 and 17. Quick story about my youngest. When she was about 10 she killed her first deer. We were sitting in a box stand watching two young does that we had been watching all season. So I tell her it's time to take her first deer. She eases her 12 guage out the window and picks one out and boom. Both deer fell !! She started crying because that was not her intention. I, on the other hand, start yelling out loudly and celebrating. I told her not to worry about it. I had been trying my whole life to pull off a double. She loves to tell that story. Especially to the boys at school

Thanks for the kind words..time does fly thats for sure.

This year I am hoping to get my son who is 8 to take his first deer. but he keeps telling me he wants to kill one with a bow not a rifle. So we will see if he can wait that long.
