Went out to the lease today to work on some blinds today and in moving around through the area we scared up at least six major flights of teal(most all in our ponds) along with numerous pairs and foursomes of big ducks...

this was at our lease around salt bayou...

this weekend the Paris Rd. area did not have near what we saw today...hoping for that area to be just as nice by the weekend. Maybe the front coming through was the difference between the two...

hope everyone else is seeing the promise of a good season.

I'm telling you...they were in there thick...

I haven't been this excited about duck season in general for a long time...

I'm stoked!

We are going sit in one of our ponds in the morning. I am bringing the camera so hopefully I can return with some good pictures.

Don't you hunt reggio? I hope they are stacked up in biloxi marsh, but I have heard differing reports. Either way I'm pumped up.

Yea my property is in reggio. We will check it out tomorrow. If no birds then we will either hunt biloxi wma or PAC on saturday. Teal season was great last season. Hopefully it repeats itself.

A lot of the birds are gone from there due to all the grass washed out the ponds. I will be hunting down there come Saturday anyway.
