All I found was this article in the Baltimore newspaper. I thought that scheduling a div II school could hurt us just as it did Auburn in 2004.

Didn't hurt Bama last year, why would it hurt LSU

Running the minefield we did last year will keep any rumblings of a weak OOC schedule pretty quiet.

Adding A&M screwed up our schedule, we had to pick up whomever was available on short notice.

Towson needs new books for their library.

Auburn was hurt in 2004 because they started out the year ranked behind UT and USCw and could not overtake them because they were also undefeated at the end of the year. If LSU goes undefeated (meaning we beat Bama who is ahead of the team in the polls) nobody will pass them up to leave the tigers out of the championship game.

Amazes me to this day how people still call Division I-AA/FCS "Division II".

Division I-A/FBS teams are not allowed to play Division II teams. Towson is Division I-AA/FCS. Division II is a lower division than Division I-AA. Division I-A allows 85 scholarship players, Division I-AA allows 63, Division II allows just 36. Division III allows 0.

The most common thing that is screwed up by fans of college football is calling Division 1AA Division 2, they are not the same thing

They're not Div. II. They're FCS. Completely different level.

Because Alabama, Southern Cal, Oregon and Florida State were booked. We're trying to get tuff out of conference games since the SEC is soooo weak.
