Also on the play Mett played the safety perfectly..

He targeted the slot the entire time.. Starred him down even. That's what got the safety to bite on the inside route.

He turns his shoulders and finds him wide open downfield.

this idiot complained that Boone had to wait on the ball.

Boone was in a different zip code from the closest Husky defender. Underthrowing the pass was the absolute correct thing to do. Trying to lead him on that throw would be like hitting directly to a pin tucked between a sand trap and a lake from 180 yards out, instead of hitting to the middle of the green, when you have a 4 stroke lead.

Just because Bama's D last year was "unbelievable" doesn't necessarily make this one "unbelievable". They're good, but they gave up 224 Yds vs the mighty mighty WKU hilltoppers. Not saying one game makes a season, but they haven't been the immovable object people are saying they are supposed to be.

there are a lot LSU fans who are just closet Bama fans. Saban gives them a boner. It's unbearable to listen to.

I had the same thoughts last season when watching plays that worked against lesser defenses. In the SECCG I got real worried about a rematch.

Russell Shepard was pretty wide-open against Bama last November. To the point where even he could adjust and catch that shiteously thrown JJ pass down inside the red-zone.

Mett did exactly what he was supposed to do on that play.

When a receiver's that wide open, throw the ball right too him.

No need in tyring to pretty it up. The touchdown's all you need there.

Had met tried to lead him the same guy would have bitched about Mett not just throwing it right at a wide open receier.

Reminds me of the guy who called into the post-game show complaining about all the blocks Copeland supposedly missed (he said his son was the 3rd string fullback). Hanagriff said something to the effect of "they had 450 yards of offense - how many blocks could he have missed?"

I was a receiver in high school. Our QBs were tought to always under-throw a receiver who is that wide open for fear of an over-throw.

i cannot stand the nega tigers either no other fan base that i am aware of trashes its own team so regularly... they need to be proud of where LSU is right now no team can hold on to this kind of domminance forever and dont forget how it felt pre 2000's where we are now is amazing this could be the best LSU football team i have ever seen better than last years... the offense is balanced for the first time in a while and the defense is sick all the way around

i heard that conversation and it dawned on me that most negaturds must have a personal reasons for "knowing more than the lsu coaches."

or, they are just mentally ill.
