I did a search and didn't see anything about this place. What are the thoughts?

Unless they have changed a lot, run like hell.

Its confusing because I dont like Boutins but I do like Poche's and their plate lunches inside Boutins.. You just have to get there at 11-1130 before things dry up. But you sit down in the restaurant and have a server from Boutins for your plate lunch from Poches. Its madness I tell you..

Just go to the Poche's side.. Dont order anything off a Boutin's menu. Boutin's is pretty mediocre.

I won't ever go back. The food was lousy & the service was awful.

The food will suck.

Or maybe someone else has been recently and can drop some insight. I'll likely never go back.

i've eaten there a couple of times, and have no desire to ever go back. was not good at all. it has, admittedly, been several years. but based on the threads that pop up on here every now and then, it doesn't sound like anything has changed.

I'll never go back, good was meh. And at 745 the hostess and waitress were rude bc they wanted to close early. I understand it was slow, but it wasn't even 8 yet

One of the worst non-chain places in BR. I had to eat there once a month for a while for business meetings. I used to stop at Brewbachers 1st, then just order a small salad at Boutins'.

To add to the chorus: Boutin's sucks. It's a tourist trap. I can't understand the relationship with Poche's, which makes really good food. If I were Poche's, I wouldn't want my name associated with that dump at all.

The entertainment is better than the food. That being said, you can find some good things. I like the fried catfish (it is hard to mess that up). Be sure and feed the turtles off the back porch. You need to look for which band is playing and remember that they will charge you a fee for sitting near the band.
