Heck no. We are sticking at three. The only team with a leap-worthy performance was Bama and they were ranked ahead of us in the AP. They COULD hop us in the coach's poll, but our blow out of N. Texas may have given us enough insulation to hang on to the top spot.
The REAL ranking that counts is the ranking on November 4th.

I think, overall, that the line looked pretty GOOD. We RAN all over them.
BUT, where I agree with you, a little, is that they had a couple of lapses that could have been costly against a better opponent. Mettenberger got CRACKED a couple of times because the blitz wasn't picked up at all. That can't happen in SEC competition.

LSU and Alabama are on same path they were on last year.
There isn't going to be a do over because, to many of your points, USC is probably going to be in the mix and the chances of having as many weak AQ conference champions as last year is slim. But all of the speculation will be put to rest on 11/3/12.

This isn't the main forum I post on. I only come around here during football season to laugh at Nega Tiger posts and get the latest news updates. Mainly because the people over 30 on this site act like fricking 12 year olds.

We need some work but 41-14 is still a whoppin. We'll stay number #3.

so far after reading two pages of this thread i learned arkansas st is a d2 team. boise is ranked in the top 15. and oregon was up 50-0 at half.

I dont think we drop cus not everyone watches the games. They just look at the score. And they will see we put up 500 yds of offense.
