Why did the AP drop LSU from #1 to #3 with Mathieu's departure? The Coaches didn't vote after his dismissal. They might drop LSU just for that as well as Bama's performance vs an overrated Michigan squad.

Wrong. Oregon was up 50-3 with 7 minutes left in the SECOND quarter, and mass subbed their 2nd and 3rd string for the rest of the half. 3rd and 4th string finished the game - Oregon played 70 guys on Saturday.

I'm an Oregon fan and I wouldnt put Oregon in the Bama/LSU/SC class yet. I do think they are much better than the rest of the country though, and agree that there is a huge drop off after these 4 teams.

I can agree with all those points. But remember, last year Oregon probably needed just one more series to beat a wore out USC.

Which is why I say "yet". The coming weeks will tell whether Oregon belongs in that title contender class with Bama, LSU, and SC. The difference has always been defense. This year we have a very talented front 7, with a lot of potential in the secondary. But will that potential amount to success on the field? Won't know until Oregon gets into conference play.

why do you put dumb sht like this up here?none of them other top ten teams behind us can beat us,bama deserves to be ahead of us at the moment until we beat them in november and USC deserves to be #1 until oregon or we beat them in the champ game,the top 3 teams are years ahead of the other teams behind them
