Odell Beckham Jr. arrived on the LSU campus last year as a highly touted 4-star recruit out of Isidore Newman School in New Orleans.
Beckham had some high expectations to live up to in his first season, but that pressure didn't seem to affect him one bit, as he went out and became an instant impact player for LSU's offense in 2011.
Even though the Tigers' passing game wasn't exactly stellar last year, Beckham still caught 41 passes for 475 yards.
Now with Rueben Randle gone, he's going to be asked to step into the No. 1 receiver role this year.
Beckham and Russell Shepard should make a great receiving pair in Baton Rouge this season, and they should give new starting quarterback Zach Mettenberger two dangerous deep threats to look for down the field in 2012.
9 TD's 1000 plus yards

I'm going to add in there that he is going to have a couple of special teams TDs as well. Book it.

What prediction is he threatening to make?
J/K.
I predict he'll be our leading receiver for the year, and will likely catch at least 60 passes.

500 yds, 7 TDs...against Idaho & North Texas.

We'll spread the wealth among the receivers, and the RBs will get the majority of the touches.
I'll say 750 yards, 8 TDs for OBJ3.
Eta: and at least 1 return TD.

By the middle of the season, the conversation will go from Barkly and his receivers, to Mett and his receivers. I dont think the world understands whats fixten to happen. Ima go out on a limb and say that we will have 3- 1000 yds receivers. GEAUX TIGERS

I saw him in the first scrimmage in Fall camp. He is going to have a huge year. Mett will hit him on some beautiful long balls.
