Hopefully the report of him being in class and doing fine is correct.

I think the starting lineup for the first game will be:

Hickey
Stringer
Ludwig
Coleman
O'Bryant

I may be wrong, but I think Stringer's days of starting are over.

If we are going to be undersized in the front court, we can't also be undersized in the backcourt.

I'm thinking:

Hickey
Freshman SG (either Morgan or Collins)
Coleman
Courtney
JOB

Eddie can rotate in at both post positions.

hickey
morgan
coleman
courtney
JOB

will probably be shuffled around more often than not. could see ludswag making a few starts and playing heavier minutes when/if we go zone.

Yeah, I see Hickey, Stringer, Morgan and Collins forming a solid rotation of the 2 guard positions, and possibly even having three of them on the court for periods of time.

Coleman and Hammink can both play 2, 3 or even 4 at times.

collins seems like a legit 6'2 so while we are already so small i could see him out there with 2 other guards

Yeah, Collins and Morgan have some size.

Hickey, Morgan, Hammink, Coleman and JOB would not be a tiny lineup.

Without doing too much research, I bet the average PF in the SEC is about 6-6 or 6-7.

I am really hoping COurtney can develop more of a PF type mentality. So far he hasn't been asked to play that way, but I think LSU could use that to their advantage. We could keep double teams off JOB if Courtney can hit the midrange to deep shot. We shall see how it plays out, but I think Courtney can play a better 4 or 5 than most people give him credit for. He just needs to have the right mentality. He doesn't lack ability or athleticism.

He's the same size as Godfrey.

Exactly. It's not a size problem for Courtney. But he hasn't shown any desire to "play big". We will need size this year and I hope the coaching staff can help him feel bigger and use his body to our advantage. I know he may be able to hit three pointers, but we need him to develop a better inside game and we need to make sure he can guard a guy down low. Toughen him up.

He's the next Geert. The Orlando Magic are already maneuvering to draft him.

Haha, from what I saw last year, I think we would play with 4 players on the court first
