Someone should show Courtney some video footage of Rickey Blanton defending bigger players. That helped LSU get to a Final Four.

Well if JOB and Courtney are our big men then on offense we won't have anyone down low because they will be both be wanting to shoot jumpers.

Having Stringer in the starting lineup was just what I thought would be out there for the first game. His experience should get him that no matter how short the lineup. It is easy to forget but he did improve a great deal on defense and the frosh have yet to prove they can or will do that.

Of course no matter how he hustles there will always be times when bigger guards will post Stringer up down low or just rise up and shoot over him. The starting lineups will no doubt change quite a bit over the first ten games or so until Johnny can see who does what in game situations.

I wonder how much full court press and half court trapping we will see. I would think that's the only thing we can do with our lack of height. Do everything you can to prevent the ball from getting into the low post and hope for a lot of steals.

Crazy thing is, we might actually be worse next year after losing JOB.

If this is happening, attendance will fall into the triple digits.

Or, depending on people's sense of humor, attendance could actually increase.

That's coaching. Jones needs to get JOB to understand that his game needs to start on the block. There are enough shooters on the squad. Courtney won't have any plays run for him, so if crashes the glass for offensive rebounds/garbage buckets he will be valuable to LSU.
