I purchased the Upperdeck pack of tickets for the North Texas/Idaho games from the LSU ticket office online. When I purchased the tickets, it said section TBD, but listed the row as row 9 and gave seat numbers. I purchased these tickets because row 9 has the gold chairbacks.
Well, I received my tickets in the mail, and they are far from row 9. They are Row U for one game and Row X for the other. The receipt they even emailed me showed row 9

Aren't all rows designated with letters, not numbers?

No, one side is numbers. One is letters...so I didn't even get the same side that I thought.

I would have assumed no seats were assigned when I saw the section was TBD. I would have been skeptical if I thought chair backs were available for any game.

Well that was silly. You could be sitting in the lower bowl for both of these games at $20 a pop if you had just bought them on gameday.

If these would have been chairbacks, I would have preferred sitting in them as opposed to any endzone seat.

not to derail, but anywhere in the lower bowl is better than the uppers. just my preference however.

Yeah, some people absolutely detest the uppers, but there is so much more room than some of the lower bowls. Not to mention the section in the south endzone where the seats are reclined back at about a 70 degree angle. Ever sat there? My back can't handle that crap.

I love the upper deck.

What section are the seats in? The row they assigned you originally might have been a place holder until they assigned your seats.

All things considered, I think some of the best seats in the stadium are in the uppers.

630 and 631...if those were not going to be the real seat numbers, they could have easily put TBD instead of showing that.

I don't know if you were expecting the same seat location for both games but when you buy single games like that its not likely they will be in the same location. The seats they are selling are visitor seats that the other school returns to LSU. I'm not sure what the ticket office did in this case by telling you TBD, but for future reference just know that.

Also from now on I would check the marketplace for better seats to individual games.

One of my favorite things to do is for a "lesser game" sit in West Upper at night. Very Relaxing

Did you call and ask for an explanation, or just run here to complain?

I love west upper - sun sets behind you, the seats are wider, the concession areas and bathrooms are ample and new, the elevators get you up and down in 23 seconds, and since the band moved, you can hear them clearly. And you can see the plays open up.

Based off where he said his seats were, that's my best guess.

This kind of what I was thinking as well, and it wouldn't have mattered whether you wanted upper or lower - could have probably sat exactly where you wanted to for less than face.

West Uppers are designated with numbers. East Uppers are designated with letters.
