hoffenheim signed veteran bundesliga DM eugene polanski to help avoid the drop, this should decrease danny williams playing time.

meh, I was just stating that it was 100% complete. The other post were just mentioning pending work permit and physicals. It's fairly new news. Especially when the deal almost didn't go through because he had issues with getting a work permit. As well, as getting all of his paperwork in before the deadline. Luckily, MLS and Stoke worked on a deal, he passed his physical, and he won his work permit appeal while all on a deadline. Good job, Stoke.

Really hope he doesn't turn into the next Charlie Davies. But, he can NOT stay healthy. It's unfortunate.

to Man City At least it wasn't the knee: It was a reckless front-on tackle where Holden got to ball 1st, looked like studs could've caught top of his foot. Could be metatarsal #bwfc — Dan Atherton (@dan_athers) February 1, 2013

Has it been said what exactly is wrong with his knee? I've tried looking around and can't find anything specific.

Brad Guzan doing work for Villa. Climbed out of the bottom 3 today. His 2 saves late in injury time were fantastic.
