How many of you have anniversaries falling on a Saturday this year?

Just to change the topic, there's always bitching and moaning from poor planners who have weddings/anniversaries that fall on an LSU game day. Who's it gonna be this time? Check your calendars and report your shame!

What's there to be ashamed of? The anniversary is for both of you. Tell that bitch you are watching the game.

Mine is in the summer, so no worries here. I was just trying to change the subject from TM rumor-mongering to laughing at the misfortune of other TD posters :P

There's no problem with it if you don't marry a count. My wedding is the day after the LSU Arky game, and my fiancee and I will be tailgating for it.

8/13/2010 was mine. My wife wanted to get married on Friday the 13th, lucky for me it fell before football season.

I did miss the Cowboys first pre-season game; which isn't so bad after looking at the stats .

I got married the day of WVU last yr and was home in time to see Mo return the kickoff and the beginning of the onslaught.

The anniversary will only affect us, and no one is missing an LSU game on the Saturday after Thanksgiving to go to my wedding, and I'll be tailgating the day before; so I respectfully disagree.

My anniversary is Sep 1st, but you won't hear me complaining because my wife is just about as big a Tiger fan as I am. In fact, we are planning our tailgate to celebrate what will be 22 years of marriage.

Train 'em right and you never have a problem!

mine does

October 6, 2007....yes that is the 5 fourth down florida game. :hangsheadinshame:

That being said though, we did get to the reception and watched the entire first half in the bar. made it back to the hotel during halftime, put on my lucky lsu shirt as did all my buddies and watched the whole second half. it was such an awesome game

The anniversary of my birth is on Thanksgiving Day this year. At least we all know what we will be giving thanks for this year.

I have had enough sense to not get married, so I don't have the game day nagging to deal with whether it is my anniversary or not. If she doesn't want to watch she has a couch....at her place.

Mine always falls on a Saturday during the season, but my wife is an die hard LSU fan, so we celebrate by tailgating. Partly why I married her.
