USC seems loaded every year not on probation by the public to win the BCS but can they haddle our depth late in the game??

LSU/Bama

USC over both. Better quarterback and skill positions plus they have the best head coach of the three teams: LFK,b

LSU and Bama won't be playing each other in title game. USC-LSU is what I am hoping for and it could go either way!

I don't think USC makes it anyway, but in this hypothetical. I will go with Bama or LSU. Both would be able to run on USC and wear them down and take over in the 4th. USC had depth questions on the d-line and you could say that the strength of both LSU and Bama's offense is the o-line

In summary: Over the past six years, the SEC's BCS champions have generally excelled by controlling the line of scrimmage, running the ball better, neutralizing the opposing quarterback and protecting the football.

With that blueprint established, it's time to examine which SEC team is best equipped to replicate the formula in 2012.

quote:

• USC (No. 3): The Trojans are loaded on offense, with quarterback Matt Barkley and receivers Robert Woods and Marqise Lee arguably the best in the country at their positions. And the addition of 1,241-yard Penn State rusher Silas Redd to go with Curtis McNeal means Lane Kiffin's team should be more balanced. The running game could be the key to avoiding a fate like Sam Bradford-led Oklahoma's 14-point showing against Florida in 2008. There's plenty of talent on defense (safety T.J. McDonald, corner Nickell Robey), too. The concern, however, is the defensive line, where USC must replace three starters and may be without injured defensive end Devon Kennard. That's arguably the most important position when facing a powerful SEC rushing attack, and the reason Oregon may pose a slightly better matchup.

If Bama or LSU are like they were last year - I'd take them anyday over this USC team...right now...all things up in the air.

ESPN has once again managed to hype the shite out of USC and the majority of the country just sort of takes it and keeps moving. They will get skull fricked by LSU. Bama is losing two games by the way. They're gonna have a hangover just like after their victory over Texas. Its gonna take that defense all year to figure out an identity.

I hate to say it but LSU and BAMA are gonna be about equal again this year. USC COULD be just as good as them but I doubt it. Since we play Bama at home and I think we will be better than USC so I see us winning it all if we meet in the BCSNCG.

In a bit of sad news for USC another DE went down with a season ending injury.

Keep thinking this. Saban and Bama are aware that people believe this. It ain't gonna be like '10.

Another one? I already knew of one that got injured and might miss most if not all of the season.
I was already thinking they would lose twice. Once to someone other than Oregon, and then Oregon in CG. They keep losing d-lineman. Oregon will get them twice.
I stick to my projection of LSU beating Oregon in Miami

WGAF what they know. What I know is that Saban has won a title two previous times; and both those times he's followed it up by losing 3 games the next year.
So that means Bama is for sure losing 3 games

It's simple logic

No, the West will prevail. USC is better at the offensive skill positions. The young ones on the D line will be seasoned at that point. The O led by three All-Americans will pick the secondary apart. With that said, LSU won't make it, even to the SEC CG. They will lose to Bama at home. Also, it will be tough for SC as well. Early in the season they have 5 of 6 games on the road.

It thins us out there more, but he was a 4th string freshman. He did need PT though and to give others a break. The O will look to get huge early leads on opponents. And they mostly will.
