i bet it will be badass. in a new trailer, i saw robb with an angry face walking in the rain. i bet that's it.
people will think that robb is a true man now and get so excited and then BAM hes dead

nih, im pretty sure im right about robb beheading karstark in the rain. new preview supports it
everyone, im pretty sure the show is going to do away with the hunt for edric storm and instead, melisandre will pursue gendry

the fact that he still hasnt been cast and the avoidance of introducing too many new people. We've already seen they're doing away with bloody mummers and vargo hoat (using some guy with a lisp named "Locke" instead) and i think they will use someone already in the story. maybe even shireen?

That is pretty plausible. For the tv viewers, the amount of characters are insane and the books are even worse. i have the Game of Thrones app for when I was going through the book, if I came across a person I didn't know, I would look it up on the app and get a reminder of them. literally 100s of characters and a lot of them with really similar names.

That's disappointing that they're doing away with the Brave Companions. I see no reason to do so.

Your budget is a reason to. They don't want it to suffer the same fate as Rome, especially given they use the locations they do for the sets (and that ain't cheap either).

im not too mad. think of it from a tv viewers view. you have the brotherhood without banners getting introduced, and the golden company down the road. with brave companions, that'd be 3 groups to keep track of and there are already enough people as it is
the guy playing Locke (Vargo) will still have a lisp, and his group will still cut Jaime's hand off, so book readers will understand the shoutout. I think they will make Locke's group under Roose so that they can introduce how fricked up the Boltons are this season with Reek and by cutting off Jaime's hand.
It would have to be before Roose and Tywin plan the RW, however. Or perhaps it could be Roose's men acting of their own accord.

I wish I had read the Dunk and Egg tales earlier. I finished The Hedge Knight in one day and I'm on pace to finish The Sworn Sword in one day too. They're so good. Plus I can finally understand more about the Blackfyre rebellion. I guess after I finish the next one I'll start a re-read of GoT.

I'm guessing CGI/Prop. There was a still posted awhile back (I think in this thread somewhere) from the Season 3 shooting that showed Jamie "without" his hand/covered up.
