Yes. They are pretty durable as long as you are not walking through briar thickets. I did mess a pair up by doing such.

Cenla go to hellyhansengear.com..you want to buy the Impertech jacket and waist pant. It's our breathable fabric that's much more affordable and durable than Goretex. Good buying..

Read reviews on backcountry.com and fishing sites. Not sure how bad your job exposes you to inclement weather OR how rough your environment is. Being that you work for the RR I would think tearing or ripping of the gear is less than prominent. I would also think your exposure would be limited. IMO buy a helly hanson mid range set and be done with it.

If you look at marmots reviews on rain gear they don't last long. The repellant wears off after a year. Not long enough for very expensive stuff.

looking for something that is easy to get in and out of quickly also.

Don't know if it was mentioned, but a full length slicker coat would be good for walking. I have a saddle slicker that works great. Wear rubber boots to the knee and the coat covers everything else.

Something like this

Boots would be your choice. Full length slickers are great.

I offshore fish alot and we all use grundens. You wont get wet. Grudens are the rain gear seen on the deadlest catch.

I do rep the line, there are a bunch of heavy PVC suits out there that you couldn't bust out of if you tried, but if you wanted something lighter and breathable your options from us are limited to Impertech. HH has proved itself in the harshest enviroments around the world,I think you will be happy with your purchase. Note these type fabrics aren't designed for the worker that requires lots of abrasion resistence. If your crawling around on top of tanks are crawling underneath them I would recommend our A Series PVC in the same config. Good Luck

Get you a long slicker. Especially if your just walking. Mush easier to take on and off.
