I feel like Jr. has a larger body of successful work, but, IMO, Waylon was the better artist. Who do y'all got?

Hank Jr. had one or two great albums in the 70's that may have equalled Waylon. Other than those records, Waylon and it's not even close.

Waylon and it's not even close.

Just his work with Nelson alone, plus The Highwaymen, they are not in the same stratosphere.

Waylon. Bocephus is a quite a few exits back on the county highway from Waylon Jennings.

And so are most tailgaters, DJ's, bars, boaters, and assholes blaring music in traffic.

I love Hank Jr. but Waylon is much better IMO. Both in my top 5 though.

Hank Jr. does have some bad songs and plenty that get overplayed, but I wouldn't call his music "shite."

One of the best country songs there is...

As time goes by, I don't care for either's music but I'd definitely choose Waylon over Hank Jr. It's been a long time since I've been a fan of Hank II.
