Was 2 hours to the hunting club lease last 7 years. This year it'll be either a 3-5 minute ride or a 10-15 minute ride followed by a 15+ minute boat ride, depending on how I feel that day

Got plenty on Douglas Island for my share. Usually don't have to hike far behind the house to get one. Admiralty Island (the next island over where the monster bears live) is about 20 min by boat and it has more deer than you can possibly count. The winter snows chase them down to the lowlands so you don't have to do a helluva lot of terrain to get one, and pack it out.
