Guidelines

1.0- MEMBERSHIP
1.1- Member clubs for the 2012-13 Season:
· TBA

2.0- DRAFTS
2.1- At the beginning of each year, the FMFP will hold an Entry Draft, where players not designated to be kept by member clubs (see 3.5) are eligible to be drafted by any club, as are any players who have just entered the English Premier League. Draft order will be determined by regular season standings from the previous year.
2.2- The Supplemental Draft will be held first weekend after the summer transfer window closes on Aug. 31. Any players who transfer into the EPL between the end of the Entry Draft and the closing of the transfer window may not be signed as free agents by clubs, and will be made available in the Supplemental Draft.

· Should a player leave the EPL between the start of the EPL season and the closing of the summer transfer window while still on the roster of an IFA club, that club shall be moved to the top of the draft order in the Supplemental Draft. Should more than one club have players transfer out during this time, the order in which they pick shall be determined by a random draw. The order for the remainder of the clubs shall remain the same as that of the Entry Draft.
· Should a club wish to make a pick in the Supplemental Draft, they will be required to release a player from their roster before making a pick.
· Once a club has passed on the opportunity to choose a player in the Supplemental Draft, they will have no more chances to make picks in the Supplemental Draft.
· The Supplemental Draft shall continue until every team has passed.
2.3- Should a player leave the EPL during the midseason transfer window, his owner will be allotted one pick in the IFA Midseason Draft, to be held just after the window closes (see 3.3). Should more than one club lose players during the time the window is open, draft order will be determined randomly, and will reverse in even-numbered rounds.

3.0- ROSTERS
3.1- Each roster is to have 15 players (11 starters, one backup goalkeeper, one backup defender, one backup midfielder and one backup forward). The draft will only consist of 12 rounds, so the final three roster spots will be filled by the clubs between the draft and the first week of competition.
3.2- Should a player leave the EPL during the midseason transfer window while still on the roster of an FMFP team, his owner will be allotted one selection in the Midseason Draft, whose order of selection will be determined randomly.
3.3- Should a player transfer in to the FMFP during the midseason transfer window, that player will first be made available to teams selecting in the Midseason Draft. If he is not selected in the Midseason Draft, then he will be free to be signed by any club.
3.4- At the beginning of each season, each owner will designate three (3) players to keep for the next season: a captain, a vice-captain and a U-23 player.
3.5- Owners are free to release and sign players from the player pool as they wish throughout the season. All transactions must be noted in the FMFP thread.
3.6- Trades will be allowed between clubs over the course of the season. However, any proposed trades will be held for a period of two (2) days, during which time other owners may state their approval or disapproval of the trade. If three of the remaining owners not directly involved in the trade disapprove, the trade will be voided and the players returned to their original rosters.

4.0- SCHEDULE AND LINEUPS
4.1- Each team in the FMFP will play the other nine teams four times (two home, two away) each season for a total of 36 games per season.
· Should three or more EPL matches be postponed or cancelled in any given gameweek, the corresponding FMFP round shall be rescheduled for one of the two Premiership gameweeks left open at the end of the season. Any statistics accrued during matches that were played in this EPL gameweek shall be discarded.
4.2- The deadline for lineups will be right before kickoff of the first EPL game of the week.
· If an owner does not submit a new lineup, his or her lineup from the previous week will be used.
4.3- Each lineup will be in a 4-4-2 (four defenders, four midfielders, two forwards and one goalkeeper) formation.
4.4- Should any FMFP owner fail to submit a lineup for Week 1, his club shall receive a score of zero (0), and will continue to receive scores of zero (0) until a lineup is submitted.

5.0- SCORING
5.1- Goalkeepers
· Goal: 10 Points
· Assist: 1 Point
· Saves: 1 Point for Every 2 Saves
· Goals Against: -1 Point Each
· Win: 3 Points
· Draw: 1 Point
· Clean Sheet: 3 Points
5.2- Defenders
· Goal: 2 Points
· Assist: 1 Point
· Clean Sheet: 3 Points
· Goals Against: -1 Point Each
5.3- Midfielders and Forwards
· Goal: 2 Points
· Assist: 1 Point
5.4- Man of the Match Bonus (Awarded by the FA): 5 Points
5.5- Bookings
· Yellow Card: -1 Point
· Yellow-Yellow Red Card: -2 Points
· Straight Red Card: -3 Points

6.0- TABLE
6.1- A league table will be in the FMFP thread’s OP, and will be updated by the commissioner each week.
6.2- Results will be posted ASAP following the week’s games.

7.0- MISCELLANEOUS
7.1- Have fun with this.
7.2- Don’t take it too seriously. The Soccer Board is one of the best-behaved boards on the Internet; let’s not let competition screw it up.
7.3- Club logos and kits are recommended, but not necessary. If you would like graphics help, contact WarSlamEagle.

I can't draft until next week, as I'll be in NYC getting blitzed, going to Red Bull games, and going to Nevada Smith's to see Chelsea and Man Shitty the rest of this week.

The Td.com Championship League draft is at 6pm CT on Monday the 13th. If anyone has any problems with that let me know.

Any chance you can move it to 7 ct instead of 6?

Sheep cant do it this week but three people have problems next week so its gonna have to be this week. Sorry Sheep.
