Not sure how many minutes he got this morning, but his stat line was:

0-0 FG
1-4 FT
1 REB
1 BLK
1 STL
1 PTS

Did we play with a small lineup the whole time or does Coach K just refuse to give Davis meaningful minutes because he's so young? There's just no way that Davis can be less productive than Chandler has been throughout the Olympics.

I hear ya. I'm not surprised or anything. Does anyone know how many minutes TC played to put up those numbers today?

I watched from the 2nd to 4th quarters and TC might have played 5 minutes.

He keeps getting into foul trouble. The 5 foul rule is kicking his arse.

It really doesn't end up being a Chandler vs. Davis thing because Tyson doesn't get any meaningful minutes either.

We've all seen Davis be way more productive on the team but if neither guy play in close games, I can't really complain.

We'll see what happens against Spain when Chandler gets in foul trouble. Because, there's a 100% chance he will.

The 5 fouls have no real effect.

40 min/5 foul = 8 min/foul
48 min/6 foul = 8 min/foul

If you think that, then you clearly have not watched a single minute of the tournament.

Go back and watch every game and see how quickly TC gets 2 fouls in the first quarter.

He wouldn't keep getting those calls if he wasn't hacking the shite out of people. He tries to bust the ball open on his block attempts instead of just making the play.

Dwight Howard had the same foul issues in 2008.

that has nothing to do with the effect of the number of fouls. he would come out of the game with 2 quick fouls in the NBA, too. it's a matter of the difference of the international v. NBA games. tyson is not suited to play internationally.

But it affects his usage later on in the game.

In the NBA, you can afford to trot out a big with 2 fouls in the second quarter, not so much in FIBA.

He only committed one foul today.

The way Lithuania was getting to the rim for easy shots I don't think it would have hurt to let Davis try.

Would rather TC playing beach volleyball or maybe playing as a goalie in water polo.

Any question about whicH dream team was better ends with the C and PF positions. Original team had Ewing, Robinson, Malone, and Barkley. 2012 has Love, TC, and Davis.

Current could in no way hang in against original up front. 1992 would beat down the current squad.

PF positions

We have a good shot if you include KD, Melo, and Lebron as PFs.

you have to be kidding.

so the arguably 2 greatest PFs of all time would be neutralized by 3 guys playing out of position?

Hey numbnuts, could it be that it's him hacking people and the refs calling him on it?

the guy is right, the number of fouls are exactly equal to what they should be based on the reduced minutes.
