Penn State might as well just shut it down. This is about 100 times worse than the death penalty.

Someone figure out how many wins they lose from this and where it moves them in all time win standings.

Seems like a dangerous precedent to allow the NCAA this kind of limitless power. No one will or should feel sorry for PSU football, but I don't really like the NCAA exercising this kind of broad authority.

That was trying to punish Peterno and make sure he wasn't the winningest coach.

If Penn State didn't win, LSU didn't lose.

I never said LSU won.

I think the vacating wins was so Paterno could not claim winningnest coach of all time.

Wtf? NCAA gets hammered for going soft handed on infractors, and also for wielding "limitless power?" PSU can leave the NCAA any time it wants.

Not enough IMO, but I love that he has to vacate the wins.

Taking the wins away means that Paterno is FAR from being the winningest coach ever. That distinction now belongs to Bobby Bowden.

Paterno family is PO'd!!
