I was gonna do the best Wu verse off any album but I think that is an impossible task.

ODB on 7th Chamber

Are you a warrior? Killer? Slicin shite like a samurah
The Ol' Dirty Bastard VUNDABAH
Ol' Dirty clan of terrorists
Comin atcha arse like a sorceress, shootin' that PISS!
Niggaz be gettin on my frickin nerves
Rhymes they be kickin make me wanna kick they frickin arse to the curb
I got funky fresh, like the old specialist
A carrier, messenger, bury ya
This experience is for the whole experience
Let it be applied, and THEN DROP THAT SCIENCE

Bring Da Ruckus

[Verse One: Ghostface Killah]

"Ghost-face, catch the blast of a hype verse
My glock bursts, leave in a hearse, I did worse
I come rough, tough like an elephant tusk
Ya head rush, fly like Egyptian musk
Aw shite, Wu-Tang Clan spark the wicks an'
However, I master the trick just like Nixon
Causin terror, quick damage ya whole era
Hardrocks is locked the frick up, or found shot
P.L.O. style, hazardous, cause I wreck this dangerous
I blow sparks like Waco, Texas"

Not only does Ghost Deini bring it hard, but he kicks the album off and lets you know what kind of ride you are in for!

GZA first verse on Clan in Da Front

The Wu is comin thru, the outcome is critical
frickin wit my style, is sort of like a Miracle
on 34th Street, in the Square of Herald
I gamed Ella, the bitch caught a Fitz like Gerald --
-- ine Ferraro, who's full of sorrow
Cuz the hoe didn't win but the sun will still come out tomorrow
and shine shine shine like gold mine
Here comes the drunk monk, with a quart of Ballentine
Pass the bone, kid pass the bone
Let's get on this mission like Indiana Jones, the GZA
One who just represent the Wu-Tang click
With the game and soul, of an old school flick
Like the Mack and Dolemite, who both did bids
Claudine went to Cooley High and had mad kids
so stop, the life you save may be your motherfrickin own
I'll hang your arse with this microphone
Make way for the merge of traffic
Wu-Tang's comin thru with Full Metal Jackets
God squad that's mad hard to serve
Come frontin hard, then Bernhard Goetz what he deserves

GZA first verse on Clan in Da Front

I was coming here to post this.

2nd favorite would be Rae's first verse on C.R.E.A.M

[Verse One: Raekwon the Chef]

I grew up on the crime side, the New York Times side
Staying alive was no jive
At second hands, moms bounced on old men
So then we moved to Shaolin land
A young youth, yo rockin the gold tooth, 'Lo goose
Only way, I begin to gee off was drug loot
And let's start it like this son, rollin with this one
And that one, pullin out gats for fun
But it was just a dream for the teen, who was a fiend
Started smokin woolies at sixteen
And running up in gates, and doing hits for high stakes
Making my way on fire escapes
No question I would speed, for cracks and weed
The combination made my eyes bleed
No question I would flow off, and try to get the dough all
Sticking up white boys in ball courts
My life got no better, same damn 'Lo sweater
Times is ruff and tuff like leather
Figured out I went the wrong route
So I got with a sick arse click and went all out
Catchin keys from across seas
Rollin in MPV's, every week we made forty G's
Yo **** respect mine, or anger the tech nine
Ch-chick-POW! Move from the gate now

GZA the last verse on Protect Ya Neck.

The Wu is too slamming for these Cold Killing labels
Some ain't had hits since I seen Aunt Mabel
Be doing artists in like Cain did Abel
Now they money's gettin stuck to the gum under the table
That's what you get when you misuse what I invent
Your empire falls and you lose every cent
For trying to blow up a scrub
Now that thought was just as bright as a 20-watt light bulb
Should've pumped it when I rocked it
Niggaz so stingy they got short arms and deep pockets
This goes on in some companies
With majors they're scared to death to pump these
First of all, who's your A&R
A mountain climber who plays an electric guitar
But he don't know the meaning of dope
When he's looking for a suit and tie rap
that's cleaner than a bar of soap
And I'm the dirtiest thing in sight
Matter of fact bring out the girls and let's have a mud fight

[sounds of fighting]

actually that is not my "best" verse on that album - many more are better. however, that is the only verse i could recite without using copy & paste. so, i figure that should count for something

Although i don't listen to hip-hop/rap as much as i did when i was in high school, i still love this album - it really is a classic as far as this genre of music. I'm gonna bring 36 chambers back into rotation for a little while. might as well throw in a little Pac while im at it and relive the glory days of Brother Martin High School.

Thought this thread would have gone better than this. Guess there are only a hand full of people here that were cool in the 90's.

And yes GZA is the shite

GZA is pretty badass

There's no need for us to spray up the scene
I use less men, more powerful shite for my team

Like my man Muhammad from Afghanistan
Grew up in Iran, the n**** runs a neighborhood newsstand
A wild Middle Eastern, bomb specialist
Intiated, at eleven to be a terrorist
He set bombs in bottles of champagne
And when n***** popped the cork, n***** lost half they brains

I have Liquid Swords #3 behind Enter the 36 Chambers and Raekwon's Cuban Linx but not by much. It's a great album. Rza's verse on the collab song(for some reason can't remember the name of the song) is tremendous. Method Man also had a monster verse on the album. Gza was his usual top flight lyricist self. Killah Hills is a great song.

[Verse One: U-God]
Raw I'm gonna give it to you, with no trivia
Raw like cocaine straight from Bolivia
My hip-hop will rock and shock the nation
like the Emancipation Proclamation
Weak MC's approach with slang that's dead
you might as well run into the wall and bang your head
I'm pushin' force, my force your doubtin'
I'm makin' devils cower to the Caucus Mountains

This verse right here.
Please show me any other group that would use emancipation proclamation and Jacque Cousteau to rhyme with,in the same song no less
