A small pair of binoculars and a cleaning kit for your gun. A spare firing pin would be a good idea.

If you think you're gonna have to stay bugged out for a long time, your AR15 or (gasp!) 7mm-08 would be poor choices for your one gun. A bolt gun in a common caliber would be far better.

I've read lots of these threads on various websites but rarely hear of one thing discussed, which may have been talked about in this thread but I don't have time to read through it.

Has anyone thought about storing fuel and keep fuel stabilizers? Gas is usually the first thing that is gouged and sold out.

That's a great point. I think the best-prepared of us won't need the mobility that requires a lot of driving.

If you really wanted to hoard fuel, you'd be better off with diesel. Diesel doesn't evaporate like gas.

Of course you'd need a diesel vehicle to use it.

Are you kidding? The interstates will be lined with cars-all full of gas.
