Don't bump without contributing, dude.
If all possible, one should make sure all the battery-powered devices he bugs out with use the same batteries. And then have spares.

If I don't bump, it would sit on page 10 with no one viewing it.
If I do bump but don't contribute, it brings it to the front for others to read/contribute.
Naaaaamean?

So I took some time today to tear my BOB apart to inventory and upgrade. A list of what I have, some pics, and a list of what I think I need. Tell me what you think:
$150 Vodoo Tactical backpack. I was told not to skimp on the backpack. That's a MAS 49/56 bayonette.
9"x6"x3" first aid kit from Cheaper than Dirt. It has gauze, dressing, tweezers, tape and scissors.
Freezer bag full or rags. You'll see I have lots of my stuff packed in ziplock bags. Keeps stuff dry in case of a leak, rain, ect.
A multi-tool I keep on a shoulder strap.
Small flashlight. I need to change this. It doesn't use the 123A batteries like all my other stuff.
More first aid stuff. Gauze, H2O2, dressing and athletic tape. Athletic tape holds well and has some stretch.
Light rope.
Dry dryer lint.
Three, 1 pint water bottles. I carry three of these.
Pop-top soup in a can. I like beans and ham.
Grill lighter. It doesn't work.
Utility knife. I carry spare blades.
Baling wire.
I also have a smaller fanny pack that I can actually wear below my main pack if I want. More on that later.
A cheap compass.
Simmons 10x25 binoculars.
Protein bars.
A shitty gun cleaning kit. I need a better one.
Mags for my FAL. I carry 8 in my main pack and 6 in my fanny pack.
Stuff not in the pics: Two windshirts, 30 gal garbage bags, plastic grocery bags, JB Weld, superglue, 3 chemlites, 2 chemical footwarmer packs, zipties, liquid soap, a 200 round battle pack of ammo for my FAL.
I also have the fanny pack. It is intended to supplement the main pack and has food, water and loaded mags. I'm to fat to walk very far with both. If I had to abandon my vehicle, it would get ratfricked for supplies and left behind.
Stuff I need: So kind of flint fire starter, duct tape, water purifier (I just ordered one of those Life Straw things.). Find back the hatchet I had that I borrowed for something else. A fork. A spoon. A flashlight that uses 123A batteries. A better gun cleaning kit. Vice grips. Ziplock freezer bags.
What else?

How heavy?
Maybe get some water bladders instead of the bottles duct taped together that looks really heavy.
