Mohawk Tavern on Lousiville Ave. for lunch.

Go by Aron's Pharmacy for some ice cream one afternoon.

Consider The Mowhawk for the price range you're looking for, as well as Portico, and Waterfront Grill.

I take it by your post that'll you'll be eating several meals in Monroe. There are several places that have good plate lunches. The Kitchen, Big Momma's, & Lindz's have very good lunches.

Otis, how casual is Cotton and is it packed on weekends?

What about Sunday eats?

Cotton can be formal or casual...you'll see all types of dress in there. The atmosphere is somewhat upsclae but far from stuffy.

It is open for brunch on Sunadys, but I haven't been. Our area , in general, is a wasteland on Sundays. Most of our restaurants close Sunday but are open Monday.
