It's not about that Otta. Your killing Romney for withholding information about himself when Obama is the king of that. Perhaps Obama's thesis admits something he wouldn't want others to know now. Point is you can't give Obama a pass for being shady as hell and harp on Romney for his tax returns.

No, more like where's Obama's college records? Those records will show whether Obama gamed the system or not to get ahead. Ignorance is bliss when it comes to knowing how honest your President is, but making money by being a smarter businessperson than others is just plain unacceptable somehow.

It would be if there was any actual belief that there may be something illegal on Romney's tax returns. It would probably just show him using legal loopholes to shield his income just like any other rational wealthy man would do. Barack Obama's birth certificate on the other hand...

He is the most secretive person since Trickie Dickie, were you unaware of that fact. Oboes friends want all of his tax records for the last forty odd years, but he refuses to produce his college grades and sources of how he paid for it.

At this point, "show me the tax returns" is my attitude...I thought he said he would provide them eventually (were not complete)...so I expect them at some point.
It's not really our business", but show us what "transparency looks like" since you would be our elected public servant that represents the people
If you're clean, then you got nothing to hide, if you do have something to hide, then are you a better option than Obama the next 4 years?

Relative to Romney's tax returns, there will certainly be nothing illegal in there - the IRS has certainly passed judgement on that.
What they are looking for are instances of using the tax code to his benefit. In other words, 'WHY did Romney take this deduction?? - he could have paid MORE if he hadn't taken the deduction."

I think grades, law review articles etc. Are more indicative of who a person is than whether they are diversified in their investments to your liking. To call out romney for tax returns but failing to call out obama...is hypocrisy.

this; i know a tax attorney that settled an IRS debt for a client that sold high end real estate. obviously her business was in the tank but he successfully argued that her BMW was ordinary and necessary for her to have since its an image she needs to maintain to sell her product.

It's amazing how the left wants to continually demonize success!! A person of Romney's successful background is exactly what this country needs for the next 8 years!!
Also, showing his tax returns wouldn't prove anything because the IRS reviews each and every tax return (big government at work) and if they concluded it was fine and nothing was in question, then why would it matter. Btw, Romney gave his entire inheritance from his father away.

I really couldn't care.
Actually, I think I would prefer to know that our president was able to succeed in life and become independently wealthy before entering politics.
I really don't want a poor person in the white house. He probably hasn't made good decisions his whole life. Why should I think he is going to start now?
I honestly am not really sure what the comparison is. Are you saying that people who harp on Romneys tax returns are as crazy as birthers?
I kinda doubt it. Obama released multiple documents. More than were necessary. Has Romney released his tax returns? I don't think it is required that he do this. It is likely just often done.
So, I guess after thinking things out, I don't think they are the same. Birthers ignored the facts out there.
Do I think it is important? No. I just don't see it as an issue.
