He just shot 30% from 3pt land 39% from the field and 71% from the FT line over his last 18 games. Let's see how he bounces back from the injury first.

He was also playing with bone spurs in his foot during this time.

He shot in the upper 30s against MIA and fixed his FTs that series too. No reason to think bone spurs should affect him after his surgery.

Plus he'll get far more open looks with Miami than he did with Boston. Battier gets tons of open looks and his release is ridiculously slow. Imagine how open Allen will be with that super quick release he has. There's no reason to think Allen will shoot <40% from 3.

And who cares what his % from the field was. He's a 3 point specialist at this point in his career. Of course his FG% was going to be lower than normal people.

Apparently Ray Allen wanted a 3 year 27 million deal from the Celtics to stay. Instead he signed with Miami for 3 years 9 million. Guy wanted out of Boston badly.

Didn't even have to read the link to know it came from Boston.

They love ripping former lovers on the way out.

The article isn't really presented that way though. Just a source within the team saying that's what he wanted to stay. And that Boston was trying to talk him down to 6m instead of 9m.

JJ doesn't take kindly to players teaming up for a title chase.

Where was Jarrett Jack's commentary when Nash decided he would sign with the Lakers?

Was Rodman a traitor for signing with the Bulls after he had played for the Pistons?

Ask Karl Malone and Gary Payton how that worked out for them

So apparently Allen disliked the most-willing passing PG in the NBA?

I find that hard to believe.
