What's the deal with Nasri's and Silva's positioning? Has Silva been pushed out wide with Nasri staying more central?

new season, same city. always have to do it the hard way.

Well that was...
eventful?
We should have netted 4 more goals and there was no excuse for giving up the second one. No idea what the frick Ridwell was doing there.

Rodwell*
definitely should have done better, but i'll take a win to start the season and be satisfied.

Type-o, "i" is next to the "o".

I meant in the game today. Not after Silva was taken off. D'oh.

He seemed to play centrally to me although City has a lot of movement. Nasri spent a good amount of time on the left and right
Posted on 8/19/12 at 12:12 pm to LSUSOBEAST1
Nasri typically has free range of the entire width of the pitch.

@Now__Football: Rumour: Aguero out for six months, if true, shocking news. Very sad.

Don't know, but other than that I thought he played quite well.

He's been in the hospital for a while undergoing an MRI scan so we'll know for sure soon enough

I think I'm gonna throw up

this game was nearly a complete disaster. If that rumor about kun is true I am worried. While rodwell made a huge mistake today I think he can be a more athletic replacement for barry/de jong long term. Tevez looked fantastic and fit. In a game where pace and well timed runs were making the opportunities I don't know why we put dzeko on. He has the touch of an elephant unless it is a sitter. The truth is that if we put away chances, this game would've been 5-2. No disrespect to southampton.

Saw on ESPN that they would have to wait a couple days to do the scan. 6 months seems like an odd time frame. You would think if it was an ACL tear, it would be longer. If less, then less. But I'm not a medical professional so who knows.

Sergio Aguero ?@aguerosergiokun
The studies I had done revealed there's no significant injury but it was a very tough hit to my knee.
Tomorrow, the physicians will evaluate the time it will take for me to recover.
I can't muster words to thank for your concern and with this much support, I'll probably get back up on my feet soon.
And I want to congratulate my team mates for their effort in turning this game around. Now more than ever - C´MON @MCFC !!
straight from the horses mouth. praise god that this doesn't seem to be as serious as we originally thought.

I hope this is the case, but I was watching SKY Sports and they said that Aguero said he was fine but City officials weren't as confident.

did they quote city officials?
i think he'll be back after the international break for our match at stoke on sept 15.
eta: this is based solely on my gut feeling.
