In the span of about ten tweets just now, I read Raphael Honigstein tweeting that Man City's Begiristain met with Mario Götze's agent last month with a view to activating a €40m release clause....
And a few down that Brendan Rodgers is keeping an eye on Jay Rodriguez (Soton)

Not even worried. Mancini will frick his career up like he has with Nasri, Rodwell, Clichy, Garcia, Dzeko, etc.
Götze is a good player but he will get lost in the shuffle at City.
