We apparently upped the bid to 8m. Some people saying Southampton bid 10, but they're ITK's saying that's not true and if it is, nothing's happened so it would appear he'd rather come to us anyway. Basically looks like we're slow playing it instead of blowing our load just to make sure we get him. But most of the papers still seem confident that we'll get a deal done.

What is this Chili's place you talk of? I usually only get Subway at airports. Last thing I want on a flight is feeling gross.
Back to point. What's the latest on the Ince lad? Now that it seems Zaha is headed to the scum for £15 mn (whoa!), I would like us to get Tom Ince. I just hope the stupid amounts paid for Zaha does not artificially inflate Ince's price. On another note it is nice to see that we are actually negotiating transfers now and not rolling over and giving up to the selling clubs any more.

Pochettino managed Coutinho while on loan at Espanyol and it's possible Coutinho may want to play for him again (they have a good relationship).
He's a very down to earth, humble player. He likes being in a rhythm and maintaining familiarity. If he does move from Inter (which it doesn't seem like he does), he may opt to play for a manager he knows well (Pochettino).

Liverpool wants to give 8 mil, they want 10+. It is a game of chicken because Inter wants Paulinho (sp?) and Coutinho is basically blocking the deal beacause he wants to go to Liverpool. Southhampton has offered more, but I don't think Coutinho will agree to terms there.
