Was it not deflected nearly right after it was shot? Did the deflection not send it further to the left? Did the shot eventually miss by 5 yards? It's impossible to know for sure, if it would've been on frame, but I think the deflection was significant enough to send it wide.
Could be I'm the crazy one, though.

My rationale was the ball was fairly well struck, deflection took place 15 yards out and caused it to change angle by at least 5 degrees. Considering the shot wasn't that far off, I thought it was significant enough to send it off frame.

I was rooting for y'all today. Arsenal looked good for so much of that game. Just lacked the finishing. I know of a certain Southwest London team with similar issues.

I watched Ramsey score a goal very late against Marseille in the CL to win the game. To me, that's a big goal

That article reads like a pounds to dollars summary of Swiss Ramble's thorough analysis. Think he had a few numbers wrong though.
My only real thoughts on the takeover story now are who leaked it and why? Bc one of 3 sources (kroenke, r&w, actual 3DP bidder) leaked it, it's either real (if option 3) or fake and meant to serve a purpose.

Also, there's a really fricking dumb rumor going around that Arsene stopped letting Bould do extra training with the defense because he was jealous of the attention. Dumbest thing I've ever heard.
