I feel good about this match. Sagna and diaby will be out though. Love sagna, but his injuries are starting to concern me. Arsene needs to cut ties with diaby, I'm sure he loves this club, but we don't need players made out of glass.
Let's hope nacho and Jenkinson can hold down the flanks.
Also, we will have 10 days to prep for Bayern. Could be Just what Arsenal needs. Don't think we move on, but a win would still be nice.

I get a weird combination of chills and chuckles.
Laughing because of how "Dennish Byergkamp!" is punctuated so many times in a row and physiologically shaken because of how fricking magnificent and unprecedented a goal like that is.

The UCL is the least of my concerns right now. I'd much rather worry about cracking top 4.

Uh, Leauxgan, what the hell is with your sig?

Wenger said Diaby is better than 50/50 to play.

Would rather not have a non-100% Diaby out there.
Give me some combination of Jack, Rosicky, Arteta, Cazorla or Ramsey even.

As much as Santi has been pushed out left because of Jack, I think we could use Poldi's pace getting behind their high line. Will be interesting to see if Wenger plays a Santi-Jack-Arteta MF or if he stays with Santi on the left.

He's been decent lately when played alongside Arteta, I stand by my hatred of him as a RW though.
I'd prefer something like
-----Arteta------Rosicky/Jack------
----------Jack/Rosicky-------------
Walcott-----------------------Poldi
-------------Giroud----------------
Not quite sure which of those would be in the CAM role, I think Jack plays both better but Rosicky is more comparable in the CAM role than he is CM So probably
Arteta - Jack
---Rosicky---
Ramsey sub in for Rosicky in the 60-70th and let Jack move forward. Cazorla can come in for one of the front 3 if we need a goal towards the end (depending on who hasn't been performing)

Gotcha bro. No dissension. NLD at the enemy's place. Gonna be a great match.
I like our chances.

Santi on the left.
He has the freedom to do what he wants. As long as Monreal can give coverage to Lennon and his runs I have no problem.

If bale doesn't score we win.

Now that I think about it I'd probably leave either Walcott or Giroud out of the initial lineup. (not sure which)
So
Arteta --- Jack
----Rosicky----
Cazorla ----Poldi
----Walcott----
Ramsey on for Rosicky - Jack to CAM
Giroud on for Walcott if ineffective or Cazorla if looking tired.

I blame FIFA for my incessant need to put forth lineups and formations now
Posted on 2/28/13 at 10:35 pm to glassman
Yeah, I know. I'm just saying, the way to get at Spurs is trying to get behind their defense. Santi doesn't run onto balls, practically ever. Poldi doesn't as much as he should, but he's more of a threat in that regard. Theo making those diagonal runs will be crucial.
Posted on 2/28/13 at 10:39 pm to Friend of OBUDan
Ah, now that you say that. Yeah definitely going with my Walcott up the middle thing.
Posted on 2/28/13 at 10:50 pm to Jumbeauxlaya
Would be interesting considering how much we struggled getting him the ball against Bayern. Though Spurs are no Bayern. I honestly like Theo on the right more. Joe Cole's goal against them this week is something Theo could definitely do. Poldi at CF is a possibility, though Wenger hasn't done that in awhile and hasn't seemed prone to going forward.
I'll guess:
Szcz
Jenks-Per (bc Arsene loves to troll me)-TV5-Monreal
Arteta-Ramsey
Jack
Theo-Giroud-Santi

I just fapped twice to the complitation of Henry's best 25 goals for Arsenal.

Poldi should be out there. Not saying he will but it's ridiculous if he's not.

This is what I anticipate the starting lineup to be, as well.
I am one of those people who thinks that Per and Ramsey catch too much heat from our fans, though.
The one who scares me is Jenkinson. You KNOW that's where S***s are going to attack, and you know he is good for at least one boneheaded play on defense per game.
Still, it's better than having Santos out there. The only Santos I want to see on a team I pull for is Cairo.
