I would have initially agreed with the others, but found your stats pretty illuminating. I literally would have guessed the opposite on everything except the very last stat. I was definitely surprised to see the aerial duels aspect since Jenkinson basically has CB height. How did you pull your sample to get equal weighting in minutes played?
ETA: Obviously Arsenal has had a miserable year on defending set pieces, but really, how vital is aerial defending as a fullback? And is the difference between the two enough to warrant that being a primary factor?

This was in January when they both had started 10 matches. Beast could probably enlighten us with more current opta stats if he felt so inclined but alas, all I have is whoscored stats to go on and I think they're woefully flawed (they do support my point though!  ).

Baccy is out tomorrow so everyone will likely get their Jenkinson wish. At least Monreal will be back. Not sure which CB will sit...not sure I really have a preference between Per and TV5 based on their recent form.
Also, I love the guy, but I think Santi should start on the bench tomorrow. Has been struggling lately.

glad he started today because it clearly worked out. doesn't change the fact he'd been quite poor recently.

Based on game thread, we need to be looking at veteran CB and GK. Who are some names for me to look up that y'all think are plausible? Also, I would have thought RB is a bigger need than CB since we have Vermaelen and Koscielny has played well as of late IMO.
But if we got Falcao

We'll need an RB, CB, GK, DM, and ST. Sagna will be sold and we should get a decent fee back for him from PSG or maybe an Italian team. I'd like to think Per or TV5 will be sold too but who knows.
