Pre-Cooked ~1lb Lobsters at Albertson's BOGO free ($15) - Snow Crabs $5.99

This was the one on Highland & Airline.

They have them thawed in the seafood cooler, but I asked the butcher for two unthawed and stuck them in my freezer. I may go back get two more.

Does any one frequent this particular Albertson's? It seems they have more smokin hot shoppers than any other store (CCLa moms)

yea they were talking on the radio this morning how there is such a surplus of lobsters right now that the price is cheaper than beef.

I don't trust cooked lobsters for two reasons. First is that you cannot tell if they're overcooked, and secondly, just like crawfish you want to make sure that they're alive until cooked. Too many times I'll see a dead one in the tank and you can bet those end up as a cooked two for one special. Albertson's also puts them in a net bag to make the tail looked absolutely pinned under.

I'll buy 'em live at twice that price, thank you very much.

It took me a good while to figure out what BOGO was

The one time I bought a lobster like from Kroger it tasted weird. Now them snowcrab legs..
