The Wu Tang are who they are because of the diversity of their members. I don't think it's fair to say one is the "best" member. They all have their place in the group and each individual member brings his own flavor.
They form like Voltron remember. I think that is the perfect way to describe it. Ghost face is on some now you see me now you don't type shite. Method Man is like roll that shite, light that shite, smoke that shite. Gza, he's the genius, he's like the head. Then there's Ol Dirty Bastard because there ain't no father to his style. Rza's the backbone...and so on and so on.

I'd probably go with GZA or Ghostface Killah.
I really just started listening to the Wu Tang Clan, but I have been pretty obsessed with it over the past month. Liquid Swords and Supreme Clientile are the only two solo albums I have so far.

Each member brings a different style, thats why wu tang is the best. Having said that, gza is the best lyricist.
